Qingkeng Fm
Type Locality and Naming
SW Zhejiang. The Qingkeng Fm was named by Hu Xiongjian, Xu Jinkun et al. The type section is at Dakengcheng-Qingkeng area, southwestern Zhejiang Province.
Synonym: (青坑组)
Lithology and Thickness
The Qingkeng Fm is dominated by metamorphosed clastic rock and siliceous ferruginous rock, most of which were metamorphosed to two-mica leptite [=obsolete term for a fine-grained banded, gneissic rock; often interpreted as metamorphosed volcanics] and two-mica quartz schist in interbedding with massive garnet magnetite quartzite and diopsidite. But its base is dominated by epidote amphibolite. The formation is 650 m thick.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
The base is in conformable contact with the underlying Wan-shan Fm.
Upper contact
It has a conformable contact with Nannong Fm.
Regional extent
SW Zhejiang – N. Fujian. It distributed in the Anji-Qingkeng-Zhuzhou-Huangnong and Longfeng areas.

Additional Information
Yu Guohua (1997) considers of the Qingkeng Fm as equivalent with the Xiahetu complex of the Chencai Group (Gao Zhejia et al., 2014).
